Our budget is made up of donations received from companies and individuals who support the fight against corruption. Currently, our main patron is Itaú Bank, but we also have other donors who contribute occasionally for specific projects.
It is used to cover operational expenses (rent, utilities, internet, salaries, etc.) and project costs (managers, researchers, analysts, journalists, designers).
There is no income tax deduction for institutional donations. Deductions may apply to specific projects that have been approved under certain incentive laws, as indicated on each project's page.
All accounting documents are accessible in the transparency section of our website. The balance sheets are released every quarter.
All corporate donations undergo scrutiny by our Board of Directors, and instances involving companies linked to corruption allegations will be evaluated individually.
All financial transactions will be documented in the quarterly balance sheets, available for review in the transparency section of our website.
There are several ways to support us: by promoting our projects and causes; as a donor, whether an individual or a company, by contributing funds to cover institutional costs or specific projects; or by reporting cases of corruption related to the COVID-19 pandemic through the Corruptovírus Project at https://ouvidordigital.com.br/corruptovirus/
