THE INSTITUTE

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

The Institute "Não Aceito Corrupção" (INAC) is a national, non-partisan, non-profit civil association, founded in 2015. The entity was envisioned by then-Prosecutor Roberto Livianu, who led the formation of a group of thirty-two citizens to focus structured and targeted efforts on the intelligent and strategic fight against corruption.

INAC is built every day by people with diverse experiences and backgrounds, giving us a multidisciplinary vocation. We use Law, Political Science, Statistics, and Communication as our main tools.

We operate in four areas: research, public policy, education, and societal mobilization. We use concrete data to conduct in-depth, critical, and qualified discussions of laws and legislative proposals, aiming to contribute to the creation and improvement of effective rules for addressing the misuse of public resources.

We disseminate knowledge on corporate and governmental compliance, public oversight instruments, transparency, and access to information, among other topics, with the goal of reversing the long-standing culture of corruption in Brazil.
